These Terms of Use govern your use of the JennyLingo website and learning platform ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service description

JennyLingo is a live online English learning platform. It provides 1:1 lessons with Jenny Wright, a qualified British English teacher, alongside a student dashboard with CEFR level tracking, structured lesson feedback, calendar booking, and direct messaging between students and tutors.

2. User roles

• Tutors: provide learning sessions and content.
• Students: access lessons, materials, and sessions.

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the Service (e.g., hacking, spamming, unlawful use).
• Infringe intellectual property rights.
• Harass or harm other users.

5. Intellectual property

All content, design, and materials are owned by Jenny Wright trading as JennyLingo or licensed to us. You may not copy, distribute, or exploit them without prior written permission.

6. Payments

Lessons are purchased in bundles (Lite, Basic, Standard, Ultra, or Enterprise) via Stripe. All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. — we do not store your card details. Purchased lesson credits do not expire. Lesson credits that have been used are non-refundable. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact admin@jennylingo.com within 30 days.

7. Rescheduling & cancellations

Lessons may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time from your student dashboard. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of the lesson will forfeit that lesson credit. If Jenny needs to cancel a lesson, the credit will be returned to your account in full.

8. Liability

We provide the Service "as is." While we aim for accuracy and availability, we are not liable for interruptions, errors, or damages except as required by applicable law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the Cookie Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this site, and continued use of the Service implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law and applicable EU regulations, including the GDPR. Any disputes arising from the use of this service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian courts.
